I believe the Epic Blade was one of the weapons sold at Baretta's shop for an exorbitant amount of money. Assuming you have the money to spare, just hike down to the northern transports in the 1001 Lakes area and choose 'other' then 'Baretta' or whatever the options were specifically named.

If for any reason you don't have access to travel to Baretta yet, you would need to complete more quests for the Fighter's Guild and keep asking about rewards until they tell you about Baretta.
