Hello,

Is it interesting to put Merline as an active member ? She looks very weak. Does she becomes stronger with training ?

As in Millennium 1 and 2 is there special items to get special promotions ? So is it preferable to not choose at the beginning of the game and to wait.

Merline gets strong very fast. Her LV increases very quickly.

Merline is quite unique in her way of fighting so the best for you is to try her, especially since she levels up fast as D-Squall mentionned.

There is something for Jack in Mani's house. You can make him an acrobat with that.
And if you imported and did the book of winter quest in MM2 for Guild of Mind then make sure to go to the Guild Of Mind for Pillar Of Experience. Merline levels up to Level 25 instantly!

I did not import a save file and I am playing on hard mode.

At the beginning she was weak but she did gain levels really quickly. I promoted her to Boom Girl and she is at expert speed at 831 at level 45. She is hard to hit and the fastest of the whole party. I now have her with the Ancient gun right now and she is dishing out some pain to monsters.

Merline is actually also very strong early in the game, go into the ancient temple as soon as you can (after you go to lorelei first then you can go in) there is a chest in there that's easy to get that has a Kid Gun in it. It is wayyyy stronger than her firecracker and also inflicts break armor so it's perfect to compliment your physical damage party.

Loof you mentioned an item in Manis place for Jack..where is it? in Manis place there are 2 unreachable points for me..i hope itsnt one of them...

you mean in secret room or in the library in Manis shack? i collected everything but i cant remember..oh, does this item give jack the promotion "scimitar lord' or something?
