I have been to the castle and tried the gate. Gravitron said open possible, need power. Went back to temple and Norman said that he would fix him later. I went back to the gate and went through the dialog again and went back to Norman and he said that he wouod fix Gravitron later. What am I missing? Norman will not fix Gravitron and I have been to the gate twice.

What is Marine saying if you use her TALK skill?

3rd time back to the castle and then back to Norman did the trick. I do not know what I did differently but the result was successful. Thanks. Now I just need to find the lost library and 1 more animal king. I killed the Rogue crocodile before I reconnected with Karine so the quest still shows as active. Is there more than 1 Rogue?

nope, the quest is no longer possible if the rogue is killed before karine re-joins.
