I followed the walkthrough and still cannot get the armor from the ice cave. Please help

What level is your Tara?
You need to boost her as much as possible. Use your best equipment and also boosting items like Hero Cream.
If you can't avoid it, use her Fire Frenzy spell. But beware, there might be a bug which afterwards allows you to cast a spell at the beginning of each battle, even if Tara is not in the party anymore. I think you can only get rid of this when the Fire Frenzy status wears off. Or Tara has no MP anymore. Not quite sure.

seminars would probably do the trick, no?

Level 53. I have to boost her strength, resistance, speed or mind. She wears the best equipment

maybe those seminars from the guild could work, no?

The armor is in the Ice Cave, Indy. You access it from the Ultai, so we can't go to the guilds for seminars.

@Mamabear: I don't think you have to care for SP or MN. It was either ST or RS.
My Tara was at lv72, so maybe that's the reason. Did you try Fire Frenzy though?

Yes I did that and try Fire Frenzy. Maybe her level is too low. Is it important to get that armor?

It's a nice armor but you can do well without.

The game is full of interesting items (or pieces of equipment) indeed. As long as your charas are well equipped you should be fine.
