I've purchased and I'm at the fortress. But I'm not allowed to attack on my current turns. Sometimes I can only guard.

I re-loaded it. It seems that my mouse sticks on the Attack key, but if I hit Enter instead, it allows me to keep fighting.

Thank you.

Hi
I am just taking a brief break to let you know how I'm going...currently, I am about 11 hours into the game, and I nearly threw in the towel when I got lost after picking up Djalmina (Queen of Death) in her dungeon and then lost again in a type of dream dungeon.
@Moncha5 - not sure if the dungeon Oznara is the dream dungeon you are referring to as I was very slack and didn't record the names. Djalmina's dungeon is crumbly like the old pyramids, and the dream one is spick and span. I did keep going around and around (in both of them), steadily losing resources, and having less and less fun. Finally, in the dream dungeon I got a clue from a plinth
Spoiler: show
"May the light be your guide", so I kept following the light...
If you mean the previous dungeon where Djalmina was found, I have no idea how I found my way out +::surrender I eventually saw a little creep watching me from within the walls, and if you see him, you're not far from the "exit" which takes you to the dream dungeon.
I am glad I have persevered as I am finding this a very good game and a bit different. The battles are tough and require quite a bit of thought and strategy. It plays smoothly with no issues so far.
If I were to pass on tips at this stage - keep notes of places (which I didn't), buy the best weapons and gear you can afford (expensive!! but you will need them), and stock up on potions (esp. Magic and Energy).

Hi Moncha5,
Ah, the smoggy industrial city...yes, I wandered around at least three times doing a full circuit of everyone and everywhere. Finally, I fell across the trigger to move the story along...
Spoiler: show
you need to walk innocently up a street in the NE of the town, and someone will be kidnapped but you'll also get the 4th team member. So you win some and lose some +::biggrin

As far as money is concerned I am seriously contemplating going back to a much earlier save (preferably after I got lost twice) and start grinding a bit. I've made it to Noctopolis but I do not have nearly enough for the good gear and weapons, or life-saving potions. I'm at level 20-21 and I think I may have missed the 5th character who popped up when I was hesitating to leap over a small gap in the castle +::O_o WTF I was so startled, I didn't even catch her name!!

@Lady JJ - if you're out there and can get over the skimpy outfits and breasts spilling everywhere, and the somewhat (I think) tongue-in-cheek take on young princesses and a rather dis-likeable prince, we need your meticulous mapping and problem-solving.
Edit: There is a rather nice old knight helping the ladies +::lol
Failing that - hello, game developer +::surrender

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I've been busy with RL and another project and that might take me another week or so. You're pretty tenacious and resourceful and I'm sure you'll have it all figured out by the time I can start this game. Sounds to me like there's just a lot of grinding to do. I did like this developer's first game, so I'm tempted to take a chance on this one.

I'll look forward to hearing your thoughts - there is no guide and as the blurb says - the game is "full of twists and turns" - so you could look on it as a bit of a challenge +::lol

Hi Moncha5
Are you able to describe more where you have got up to? There are a few steps involved to realise your dream of entering the evil castle.
Spoiler: show
You need to try to talk your way past the 3 guards - Sir Arnould tries and fails. Then, you need to explore the sleazy night life place (strip club? brothel?) and work out how to get two of the ladies hired on to dance so you get access to the back room. You have to work around Sir Arnould - get him drunk - as he'd never agree to the plan. Once you've made it into the back room, you have a sleep and then exit to end up behind the 3 guards. The door opens - no need for a key - and you are on a platform looking over to the evil castle. It is surrounded by a moat - stand facing the castle in the centre and there will be some dialogue for Sir A to use a grappling hook to get everyone over to the castle. And again, the door just opens

I have been wandering around for a while now in the castle - I can get so far but can't find the way to unlock a couple of doors which is VERY frustrating!!! +::grrr
I still haven't found Trinity (the 5th character) so if the game developer is out there - HELP!!! +::sos
Currently, 17.5 hours in and leveled up to 26-27. I had to exit this dungeon to go back for supplies and better gear. The other issue I have is how to get more stars to unlock skills. I only get one each after completing a dungeon without exiting - is that correct? And that's not nearly enough to bring them all up!
