It's cold outside so what better way to spend time than to play a winter-themed game?

This is the 5th game by an Aldorlea's community favorite: Orfeas Studios.
Their first offering, The Deal, was a massive success on Aldorlea, ranking 3rd of 2017.

SUMMARY:

Just after the events of "The Deal", Cyrus, Jonathan, Donna and Myrella, the four heroes of Carca, are summoned by the people of Snowbelle Island, to the far north, to fight against some strange, demonic creatures, that appear every year there, and save the winter holidays!

Unfortunately, for the heroes, due to a mysterious curse, whoever sets foot on that island, forgets their skills and adventuring experience! Now, Cyrus, Jonathan, Donna and Myrella, need to fight monsters, explore, find secrets, buy equipment and learn skills, like any other new, rookie adventurer would!

Dive into a winter, snowy and freezing adventure, fight against demonic powers, explore, pick up gifts with items, find rare items, complete quests and solve the mystery behind these new, bizarre monsters that wreck havoc on Snowbelle Island!

Now this is the kind of game I really really like. I'm buying it now!!

Orfeas has done it again !! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas-themed games, and this one is sooooo cute. Played the demo for a bit and then bought the game. The full version is downloading right now.

Love the fact that the characters from "The Deal" are part of this game, and there are sooooo many quests to tackle. And how cute, all those Christmas presents lying around instead of crates. And a nice touch with the footsteps, and we get secrets rooms again !!

Thanks you so much for this game, Orfeas. It was such a wonderful surprise when I saw it earlier on.

Additional: Oh... I found the male version of myself. You did say you would give a minor character my name in another game, Orfeas, and what fun to find it in this one.

I have now finished the game. Found ALL secret rooms (even the last one), and am now looking forward to an EASTER game !!

I hope everyone enjoys "The Winter's Deal - Frosty Edition" to the fullest! There's fun, color, snow and characters, to interact with, everywhere! The game is easy and cute, which is perfect for a holiday game, in my opinion. If you need anything or just want to say a couple of words about the game, do not hesitate to post here!

I'm very happy you enjoyed the game, Vald! An Easter game, huh? I don't know... never really thought about that before, to be honest! Sounds interesting. Good job on finding all the secret rooms on one go!

Orfeas, there was a mention of Easter and the Bunny a couple of times, so I thought that was a hint to what's to come. LOL

And no, I don't mind the character being male, so long you know that I am not. Some people seem to think that I am, because of the name. I am usually known as "Valdy" on other sites, but I clicked "OK" too quickly before I realised that I hadn't written my name properly. A shame this place doesn't allow for a change.

Great Game!!! I just started playing The Deal again the other day and was so excited see this game to play it... when I see it's a game from you I go ahead a buy without playing demo knowing it's gonna be a great game....Was sad it finished wanted to keep playing...

Can't wait for next game!!!!

The bunny was more there as a kind of funny mention/taste, since the last level was too "serious" in comparison to the other parts of the game, in my opinion.

I think that your avatar clears any confusion, so I don't think that anyone actually thinks you're a guy, after looking at it!

Well, you can't always go by avatars. Take Indinera's avatar. I keep thinking HE is a woman, because that's the only avatar I have seen Indinera using since I joined. So you never know...

Huh... That's true! I guess I go with avatars, except for people I know the truth about. That's something I never really put much thought on.

I wanted to let you know that I also enjoy these type of games and am looking forward to playing th 'epic' one that you are currently making. I realise that they take a lot more effort to make than the short games.

Thank you poshpaws! Indeed, creating "bigger and more epic" games is very pressuring, time consuming and difficult. However, it's a very rewarding "quest" for us, developers!

On another note, I am very happy that no one encountered any bugs or issues with the game and everyone is enjoying without any problems!

I have to agree with this.

Well I finished the game and enjoyed it just as much as I thought I would. There were 2 technical problems that I had . One was with the secret rooms . I found them all but my quest log didn't count one of the and I don't know which one. The same thing happened with the presents. I noticed it right away when it happened but didn't write it down but it was early in the game. Maybe the 4th or 5th one. Oh well I know I found them all.
