Something is wrong with my game. Whenever an option screen appears, the cursor moves rapidly from one option to the next, so quickly that I can't even make a selection. This happened suddenly; it was fine earlier today. Any advice?

Edit: Now I can't move my characters. Help!

You need to restart your computer.
It's not a game's malfunction btw, but a computer one instead.
