Weird Watch of the Gods

I activated Quest 9 and went into the Glucrose Secret Room, but I didn't find anything that looks like a Weird watch of the Gods, only the Orb. Was this some kind of glitch or is there something else to this I needed to do?

Did you check everything there? Maybe some of the pillars? BTW Can you get that thing before activating the quest? I didn't activate it yet and I'm at the Glurose room but didn't beat him because of the crash.
