my keyboard arrow keys do not work properly after entering the poison forest area. i entered and searched around for a bit then got caught by one of the red wasps and the game over event happened.
this morning I tried to play the game again and the key board arrow keys do not work properly. the right arrow seems to be stuck on and the left arrow key doesn't work at all. up and down seem ok.
i decided to try another game the rose one after down loading and starting to play the exact same problem. arrow keys are stuck.
As I am not that great with the techno stuff I am completely at a loss.
I use XP.
Please help so I can continue this great little game.

If all the games act the same......... i would say your keyboard is damaged.
I suggest to either ask someone's help to try and fix the defective keys (sometimes they are just "stuck" on a wrong position), or just purchase a new keyboard, which could be the most straightforward solution if indeed it's broken.
Just to make sure, you could try downloading another game and see if the same thing happens.

Thankyou for your suggestion but I have tried to do this and had exactly the problem when I downloaded and tried to play the Rose game.
The arrow keys work in the body of this text but not in the games themselves.
It has got me stumped.....

I just downloaded Eternal Eden and exactly the same problem.
in the beginning it said that I could change my keyboard designated keys but as I am techno challenged I do not know how to do this. is there anyone who may be able to assist ith this annoying problem.

Good idea trying also EE.
The arrows should work directly, those games are designed this way.
They may be broken, in that case the best move would be to get a new keyboard.

The keyboard issue seems to have resolved itself by itself, all is ok this morning.
maybe my computer needed a break
I am happily able to play the game again, but this time I won't play for hours and hours.
