Let me add my comments to the others re: only able to play in full screen mode and not being able to exit game properly. I really don't like playing in full screen mode and there should be an Exit Game option if you can't 'x' out.

Oh, I am also having problem with shutting down game. Had to go to CTRL/ Alt/ Delete, and as said, couldn't save it, and have started over x 3 already. Help me Sir Indy.

I tried the demo but the game seems to be between two black colums. I cannot put it fullscreen. Maybe it is due to my poor video card....

I think F4 toggles between screen modes, can you all please try it?
I also thought you'd like better full screen mode, I can let it start in windowed mode if you prefer. +::Dunno

Okay, we seem to all be having a save issue. The game did an "autosave" after I entered Fay. I found some stuff and saved in slot 1. I was even prompted for writing over the current save file. But, the file was not apparently written to the hard drive slot.

I did a hard close on the game and the save point loaded the game at the exact same spot just after entering Fay.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the same exact save file in slot 1 was still there with 2 characters just after the point of entering Fay.I'm going to read the manual and just wait until it gets light enough to do yard work. +::cry

You can save anytime from the Main Menu and you're also asked (required) to save before the introduction sequence, did you do that?

I've just ran the beginning of both the demo and the full game.
I was able to save and load after the introduction bit in both.
The game autosaves in some places (like villages) but you can always save manually from the Main Menu anytime you want.

Okay I have an idea, maybe the installation path I picked won't let you write a new file and therefore won't let you save.
Windows tends to be pretty stupid so while I investigate this a bit more, maybe try and reinstall the game somewhere else, on your desktop maybe?

Okay please try to install the game to:

C:\Users\[Your Name]\AppData\Roaming\ForeverHeroes

Let me know if this fixes the save problem.

Can you everyone please confirm that F4 and ALT+F4 do respectively toggle between screen modes and quit the game?
I'm ready to repack the game with this vital information mentionned at the very beginning of the game, but I'd prefer to be sure it actually works for all of you.

Yes, Indi, installing in the path you gave fixed the save issue.

One quick question. Who/where is Gerald? In Fay or in Hills?

Yes, the F4 and ALT+F4 work as you said. But maybe ALT+F4 should have a confirm function to "Save before exiting" because I can easily see myself stupidly doing so as my game just shuts down without having saved.
