boughed ticket and reloaded for 5 hours now and can't get matching numbers. My sign up number is 220. Did everything Nimatoad did but doesn't work for me. My luck is at 162. Anyone got the right ticket yet?

Waiting for nimatoad to tell us what the prize is and how he saved the old man ... but somehow you have to match the number on the list with the ticket ... I just don't know exactly what the procedure is ...

Here's what happened:

After I got the flying saucer and went back to Deckersville, I tried talking to Landon and he just kept asking for coins. I went into the lottery house and talked to the guy who sold me my ticket, and he said I won, but they had changed the prize from money to a trip. I gave the trip to Landon, and it was enough to finish Q24.

I tried to duplicate getting the winning ticket and thought I did all the same steps, but it didn't work, so either I forgot something, or I was just really lucky the first time.

I don't remember all the dialogue, he may have . I did talk to another character in the lottery house after I got my prize and had to make a choice, so I don't know if that will affect future quests (or maybe the ending).

I've managed to get a ticket that matches the number I get in the inn. I'm not at quest 24 yet, so I can't confirm that it will work, but fingers crossed.

what's the number you get in the inn from that guy ? I want to see if it's also different in every game

Matching the number given after signing the petition to the ticket you buy is the key to winning. But I am going to assume there is a chance of them not matching in most cases.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this insane quest/task. I approached this from the perspective this is a game with variables, counters, etc. So, logic drove my success.

Here's what I did. Sorry for repeating previous players ideas.

My Lottery steps:
1. Give man 3 coins who only eats whitefish.
2. Sign petition upstairs in Inn
3. Gave JetSki guy 100 gold
4. Talked to Jeff, guy south (outside) of the lottery house.
5. Gave another coin to guy who only eats whitefish (I think I gave him a total of 5 coins) He gives Luck potion when you return with ticket (have flying saucer). This becomes Q24.
Enter the "Lottery Building" and;
6. Talked to Crystal Ball lady
7. Talked to 3 clowns.
8. Read "Live, Long, Luck" tablet next to black cat.
9. Talked to guy in front of purple Luck flame
10. Talked to girl just north of luck flame guy
Then;
11. Saved and used LUK boost from Q#3 instead of taking 50 coins.
12 Bought ticket (#240?) that matched petition number in top floor of inn.
13. 2nd Try got correct number

I did NOT pet the black cat(s). There were 2 cats in the room when I returned with winning ticket, so that hypothesis was not true. You do get a trip to Hermit Island that solves Q24.

I think each time you do something that increases your Luck, a counter increases your percentage to win. But maybe never to 100%?

And one other thing. After winning, I talked to a girl named Hanna (just to the left side of guy who tells me I'm the winner) who asked if she could be my girlfriend. I answered "yes" because I am not intending on finding Marlyn this playthrough because Caius is going to the Ice Shrine. Boy, I hope this was a good thing.

We will see. This is possibly an interesting twist. Busho said he thinks she's a golddigger, but none of my gold disappeared.

If i understood step 5 correctly, you bought the ticket after you got the flying saucer?

You must buy the ticket the first time you visit Deckersville or you cannot return there later. When you return for your winnings you have the saucer and the reason for my aside comment. It's a free potion from the guy and it also activates Q24 at the same time.

Nope, no relic for winning the lottery. The winnings are advertised as $2000 gold, but ... nothing beats an island vacation when you're dying to get there.

Does the lottery ticket have to have the same number as signed document upstairs in the inn? I've tried Kimo's version and it' always different (7 or 8 times now)
