After I get on the boat... I seem to be missing side quest #7 ... I have 6 and 8 and I get #9 directly on the boat.

I assume they are in order so can I get a hint to where do I find the person that gives #7 ?
Is it still in the port town ?

They are ordered, yep. From the moment when you can acquire them, not complete them (some early ones for instance can only be completed much later in the game).
#7 is a bit tricky and indeed, the hint I can give you is that it's in Port Town.

Is it connected to the girl who wants you to sign a petition ? Cause I had that bug too where Caius says she is gone except she was not ... after you fixed it - now she still doesn't leave the Inn after you sign but you don't get the dialogue either from Caius this time on the new demo version ... Is it intentional or the full version of the game fixes this ?

Not connected to that.
This glitch has been fixed for both demo and full game (but even before that #7 was never connected to it).

ok ... just to extra clear about the glitch with the girl - she IS NOT supposed to disappear from the inn at that time ? Hence the dialogue from Caius is no longer present ... right ?
