I finished quest 47 and have the Champion in my party. I also completed Q48. But Q47 is not showing as completed in the quest scrolls.

Excellent catch, now fixed.

Something's still not right on that one.
I have #47 twice in my quest book. One says Arena Win and describes "Be an Arena Champion". It's unsolved although I have done the arena.
The second one says completed and describes "A Winner is You"
Is that supposed to be the same quest?

If you completed it, it seems like the scroll didn't get removed from your inventory.

Btw - does triggering Q42 (Romance paused) depend on something? I read it shoud get triggered in Fay before going to the Ice Shrine, but I don't get any quest there at all.

"Quest 47: completed" indicates you did win the Arena.
Seems a case of the "not completed" scroll not getting removed from the inventory.

What is strange is that scroll 47 does get removed upon defeating the Arena.
So my question is: have you been able to figure out if it popped up again somewhere? If you had 2 at some point?

Letter? There's only some paper talking about inner feelings and I'm pretty sure I did read it because I frantically click on anything and everything at all times.
Well, since I don't get a quest offered - it's missed. Just another one ...

I looked. No, after entering the Arena I get that quest, and it's only one scroll in the questbook.

As it should be.
But then according to what I have, the moment you defeat the Arena (just before getting the rod as reward), scrolls are swapped, you lose the uncompleted one and get the completed one.
If you had just 1, I don't see how you'd still get to "keep" it after that sequence.

Yes, that's the one I have.
So either there's a bug or my game has hiccups.

Sometimes I wonder if the software doesnt get hiccups for real.
The coding seems good for this one but who knows? One thing 's for sure, it should be removed just before getting that rod as reward. Not sure if it gets added again somewhere else

Okay, I figured out what's going on.
When I first enter the Arena from the world map, Busho (since I went with him) says he wants to do the arena and so on and so forth, then the quest is added.
Then I go upstairs and register to participate, and when I get my tickets, the quest is added another time. I didn't notice this before, because there's only one line in the quest book, but looking more closely I noticed that there's a "x2" next to that scroll. So when I finish the quest, one of them will be replaced by the finished one, but the other one remains.
