I finished this quest, so got all 7 locations.
Unfortunately I've lost my note of where they were and I don't remember them all, but I thought it might be helpful to put down what I do remember and others can add to the list so that they are all here.

Rainbow Hills, right at the beginning
Canacopra, just wandering around.
After you have defeated the fire boss on the bridge in the Elven Woods, cross the bridge and go right onto the next map.
Ice Shrine - the map where you found the Azura Materia, to the left of the entrance. (maybe here only after defeating the Crystal God?)
Ice Shrine - Hall of the Titans, bottom right corner

EDIT
To include the 2 locations from lilac
- Maze outside of St. Town ( bottom left corner i think )
- The place on the world map where you get quest 25 ( the sword ).

EDIT 2
in the Karak Volcano on your way through to the Orb. He's in an optional area where you go down to the map, probably only a map or two before the end of the volcano.

What was the fire boss. I don't remember seeing Bokden in the elven woods at all and i thought it's really weird since it's such a big place.
I found him in the Azura Materia map before dealing with the crystal god.

It's called something like Lord Gomorheon, and as far as I can tell, he's non-optional. When you have finished in St Town and are making your way back to the flying saucer, he's on a bridge that you have to use. The map with Fenlyr is to the right, but that's north of the bridge. There is a little bit of the Fenlyr map which is only accessible by a little path south of the bridge.

Well, i thought it's weird how i didn't encounter Bokden in the woods. I checked a previous save (in the glade, right before the party split ) and Bokden was indeed where you said. I had not interacted with him and despite that i completed the quest. So...bug?

Pretty sure the last location is somewhere in the Marmaris ruins but for the life of me, i can't remember where exactly.

So...bug?

Maybe the quest lets you miss one of his locations?

Can't check now but it looks to me like there will be a one miss tolerance. Unusual with the wicked Trickster, so enjoy while he doesn't change his mind

I found a scribbled note in my wastepaper bin.

I ended up with a count of 8 Bodken sightings in my stats - so unless the game counter is wrong, there is an extra one!?
And don't even try to ask me to remember where I spotted him - still learning game techniques and one of those is to take decent notes!!!!!

Guess the 777 quest is too easy lol
