Resolving Q 14?

I've activated 14, and this is supposed to be resolved in the Ogre Tower. Do I have to do this before completing the volcano? I've restarted the game 3 times. I've looked through the Tower with my four characters (haven't lost M yet), and the character I found in order to activate Yosef's quest is no longer in the same place.
Also--what boost do I need (or where do I find it) in order to access the SR in Genewares? I don't want to miss it this time.

search the forum Geneware hut or just " geneware" you will find the answer in the first posts ...
Same for Q14 ... also you posted about this quest before and it seemed to have been answered in a spoiler tag and everything.

ok ... it was posted somewhere in a post but in short - you will find your character in
the secret room of the ogre tower that was empty before... go back there

I have found empty secret room in Ogre tower, but can't get quest # 14 activated. When I talk to Josef, he doesn't say anything about a lost girl. How do I activate it??

You need to speak to the girl before killing the ogre. Then, when you speak to Josef after killing the ogre, he says his girlfriend is in the Tower and Caius "remembers" speaking to her. If you don't speak to the girl before killing the ogre, you've lost the ability to get the quest.

She's in the secret room in the tower. This was an incredibly convoluted quest.

To find the girl the first time (you must do this before killing the Ogre):
per LadyJJ's previous post somewhere on this site
Go to the Ogre tower and climb until you come to 2 wide stairways. Take the left stairway (the guide says right, but ignore that because you can't complete the quest if you kill the ogre before finding the girl. So left stairway up, this brings you to a center stairway up, which is just a few steps away from another tower up stairway. Before taking that tower stairway up, walk around the back and you should come across the girl adventurer. Have a conversation with her and now you can solve the quest, though not right away. I think she's easy to miss because sometimes she walks behind the stairway.
To activate the quest you have to
talk to the boyfriend after killing the Ogre and have the witch with you.
Quick Recap:
1.Find girl in tower. She will tell you she is searching for something so you will know you have the right person; 2.Kill Ogre; 3.Find Witch; 4.Talk to Boyfriend to activate quest; 5.Go back to Ogre Tower and find girl in secret room.
If you do not follow the exact order, you will fail and join the same club lots of us who absolutely failed at this quest because we
killed the ogre before talking to the lost girl who wasn't really lost. She's just an adventurer with a clingy boyfriend.

What he said. I think you might be one of the very few to get them all, then. Careful about getting sidetracked. I almost missed a quest because I wasn't paying attention as much on my 2nd game.

I think the key to success is to write them all down, in chronological order, and cross them out each time you complete one.
I did it like this and - I think - I did complete them all. Of course I'm the dev, but still
