I read in the guide that you go first to the ice shrine. The game send me to the volcano. Am I going to switch to
Caius and mis P party to visit the ice shrine when I finish the volcano?
Caius has the trap skill so I choose the ice shrine for him.

You have chosen the non-canonical parties, as the Guide assumes that you send Busho to the Ice Shrine. You will, therefore, get things in a different order. But don't worry, you will get both eventually.
