I think I have to quit

This is a great game, but I'm stuck and don't see a way forward.

I'm in the Hall of Madness with Yveen and actually made it to Baretta, but cannot win. Yveen has little equipment and no items and I couldn't find anyplace to replenish so I could level her up. Baretta dies early in the fight every time. (I've tried Drama, etc., but they don't help.)

I'm playing the hard option, as I always do. I can keep Yveen alive (through guarding and healing) in a fight with one, but not with two.

Is there any way I can go forward, or is this it?

Same, send me your savefile.
Or you can try to redownload and reinstall the game, as the latest build now include a resting point at the beginning of the area (allowing you to train Yveen).
