ETA: March 31st 2023 - April 6th 2023

I'm going to take one extra week, for my health and mental sanity.

ETA
March 31st 2023 - April 6th 2023

I also want to keep you updated so you don't think this is going nowhere, and will also do so next week around friday-saturday.

What's left to do?
* Finish the last 5-6 guild quests
* Polishing a bit the interactivity in the final parts of the game including with failed guild quests and how they can trigger different conversations
* Finish the Strategy Guide
* Give time to littlebro to finish proofreading

Why an extra week?
To tackle the remaining work more comfortably, with no rush and with less pressure, and more chance of ironing out all/most bugs.

That's fine ! After all, for many, a game ends when it is released, but emergency bug-fixes happen and require time, attention and to watch the forums a lot. So, to you, having that extra week means probably a lot more than to us. Your udpate shows us you are close to the end.
Besides, health is kind of a big point, so, take care of yourself.

The different conversations based on whether you failed the guild quests or not is quite interesting!

I'm sure it will be worth waiting for and another week doesn't make much difference. I'd rather not play a 'buggy' game so I understand that you want to make sure you've dealt with everything. I'm really looking forward to playing it.

I feel like I'm in an old Heinz Ketchup commercial.

With about 30 dungeons to explore and tons of original secrets, I'd say it is worth the wait. It won't be your common RPG, that much I can guarantee.

no common Rpg ? Damn , we were hoping for a very ordinary boring rpg from the most anticipated game on aldorlea website +::biggrin +::biggrin +::biggrin

What's left to do:

* Polish final two dungeons
* Polish interactivity in final town
* Check out failed quests
* Guide 80% completed

When I say polish it means go through it and check if everything runs smoothly. All the mapping and events are already there.
I'm going to take extra 6 days to complete these steps so March 31st. Crossing fingers this time it's finally the real one. Remember: no game of mine comes close in size ever since I started Aldorlea (2008).

* Main quest dungeons fully ready : 23/25
* Optional dungeons fully ready : 11/13

I understand and appreciate that you are constantly keeping us informed as needed.

But, I have a dilemma. I'm going on holiday starting April 1st. Should I stay home and download/play the best Aldorlea game ever? Or should I go on my Caribbean cruise? +::Dunno +::biggrin

I wonder if my girlfriend of 15 years would understand putting off our wedding being officiated by the ship's captain? No, really, I'm getting married in 2 weeks so I will have to depend on the boat's WiFi system to be online. +::fear

I will do my best to keep up with everyone else who is playing, but it's gonna be hard until I return on April 10th. I'm just hoping @LadyJJ doesn't finish the game before I can start. +::cry

@kimo- CONGRATULATIONS! How did you keep this a secret for so long? +::heart

No chance of me finishing in 10 days. Heck, from the sounds of it, no chance of anyone finishing it in 10 days. And, I've just finished playing LFIII. Took me about a month and this was at least my third time through. I'm definitely going to take my time to explore everything time and time again and take copious notes, maybe even start a spreadsheet. :)

Have a great time on that honeymoon cruise, kimo.

I'll post the next update next week-end, with the obvious goal to reach 23/23 dungeons completed.

But is it the best Carribean cruise ever? hmmmm??
Also aren't you in Hawaii?? Who needs the carribean when they are in Hawaii?? +::biggrin

I wonder if my girlfriend of 15 years would understand putting off our wedding being officiated by the ship's captain? No, really, I'm getting married in 2 weeks so I will have to depend on the boat's WiFi system to be online. +::fear

Congrats, that's awesome!! +::heart
Gives me the motivation to make your date even more special by releasing your other true love at the same time :razz:

10 days is 240 hours and I'm not sure someone can finish it so fast ehehe.
That said, I do believe focusing on the main quest in story mode, with the guide, makes it definitely doable in 10 days lol

See above lol
No guide + normal mode = no chance, I think (although not doing any of the optional content would help a lot - there are 8 guilds remember, all optional)

Spreadsheet a very good idea for LS +::Thumbup
I have one too +:oops:

Have a great time on that honeymoon cruise, kimo.

+::Dance +::Dance +::clap
we want pics +::heart 8)

Congratulations Kimo to you and your bride to be. Much as I love the idea of playing a new Laxius game I think getting married and a Caribbean Cruise might top even that. Have a fabulous time and you can play it when you get back but not whilst you are on honeymoon!
