OMG!!!!!!
How do you kill this guy, there doesn’t seem to be anything you can do that even phases him, tbh he slaughter me the first time and I meant to leave him alone the next time but accidentally clicked on him again
Anyone have any ideas?

I was just saying in the other thread that it's a ridiculous fight. I imagine the fight should be different level of difficulty for the different game modes. but let me tell you, that fight was not story mode ( which i'm playing ) level!!
I got the game over screen about 10 times!
From what i can remember, the best damage was made by skills, demolition flail, preying, hyper attack, i also think oni. In general i think spells were mostly bad because they are thrown back at you. Wendala did whatever, mostly healing and Labour day ( essential to reset the skill counter and remove bleeding ), Sandy healing shield, resurrect. Good luck!

Oh I’m not doing it again lol, I’m playing story mode I usually do on my first walkthrough and I click everything within an inch of its life haha, I’ve found 51 rooms but I know I missed the first one and obvs a few more lol, yes the skills and magic just come straight back at you guess the clue is in the name lol but I tried with just hitting him but he still gets you. He’s in an optional area so hopefully he’s not important, I’m just gonna carry on and leave him. X

Yeah, it's not worth the effort and stress ( especially when you're playing story mode ). It just dropped 4 ores!

I'll make story mode a bit easier!

In general monsters shouldn't give you much of a trouble but some hardcore enemies are likely to put up a fight, still (because they are hardcore in the first place).
On the other hand, they are generally fully optional.

Story mode is perfect it was only that one baddie that seemed impossible, but yeah as it’s optional I’ll leave it this time and try again on my second run though on a harder level.

i'm not really sure, but i just defeated him (after 6 hours ig grinding) and it doesn't register him as a boss, in the save book it says I have defeated only 3 mimics (I'm not sure if he's the third or fourth you encounter), so if anyone can let me know if that's a bug or not

edit: nvm, I just don't know how to count xD

He's the first real major challenge on insane mode I faced. Best I managed was getting him down to 80% getting decent luck spamming sandy's AOE revive as he constantly 1 shot all my chars and giving her the good counter/reflect gear to give her higher chances to survive (plus using a large chunk of my revive item supplies on sandy when she did get 1 shot) . But ya after he buffs and regens almost as fast as I can damage him, was clear my supplies would eventually run out.

Probably could of beat him legit with a bunch of grinding but was worried that would make the rest of game too easy ( and being a bunch past that, that is true, already too easy with attempting to avoid grinding and running from 20% of battles =/ )

So yea i cheesed it. Here's how: Get Wendala's Shocker up to 99, than use it on him. The 100th use bonus for it, is coded to insta kill anything so u win right away.

(But ya indi dont nerf him on insane mode, just make rest of game harder pls hehe. Especially the story bosses in the same area as him, I literally 1-3 shot them all taking next to no damage)

For anyone not looking to cheese this fight, here's how to do it (on insane mode, because I don't care about the other modes):

- Make sure you have Gazification on Sandy
- Enter the fight maxed out (duh). If you have the shield, use it on wendy so she has her FR. (Vantage shield from SR 3).

Start with Gazification and Kneel.
From there on out, use Sniper, Repression, XXX-attack to deal damage to the mimic (baiting for crits, too). Use Louthros to heal people with items and revive people with resurrection if necessary (Graveyard soil combo skill.
If the mimic uses Apocalypse, just evaluate if you can go on or not, there's no shame in resetting.

I know there's no moderation, but i wish people would be more careful and stop spamming, constantly making new threads about topics that have a dedicated thread (talking mainly about the secret rooms and the quests) or topics that have been answered again and again all over the forum.
