Bought full game and have to start over from beginning?

Hello, I bought the full game while in Azan and to my disappointment, It doesn't continue from the demo, I have to start all over.
Is this so or is something wrong with my game?

I think all you have to do is copy/paste your save folder from the demo to the full game.
