I was wondering about the sidequest involving the crypt where you rescue Prytor, or whatever his name is. Is there a time limit on this quest where you can do it with Kraken in the party or is it just Luke, Piper and Laxus? I did it with only those three and no Kraken, but I get the feeling it was meant for him to be there too.

Sorry, I did it with just 3 party members, too. It was a toughie. I'm curious about it being time-sensitive, too.

It's for sure a big moment (and sidequest) is your party is not too strong yet.
I tend to think you can go there with Kraken

Replaying the game and turns out, you can. You can wait until you get Kraken to tackle the Crypt sidequest. It makes things a LOT easier if you leveled up enough, though what difficulty level you're at will make it vary. Mine's on Nightmare and that fight was a nightmare itself.
