I thought this might be useful enough to justify a thread so that it can be found easily.

The title screen has a very nice animation to it, but you might not want to watch it every time.
What I have discovered is that, once you have a save file, you can do this:

When the game is loading you click/hit Enter as soon as it starts to go straight to the title screen, just like you always can.
As soon as you get to the title screen, click/hit Enter again and it completes the animation immediately and gives you the Commands box.

I noticed that, I was afraid I would have to watch the entire animation each time I opened the game. haha
Also, there is one thing I would like to say which I thought it wasn't neccessary to open a new thread for it so I'll use this one.
When I check the Graphics options on the menu and leave, the game crashes.

Did you do anything special? I just checked now, entered, left, nothing wrong happened.

Nope, I didn't do anything special.
I bought the game as soon as it got out, played a bit, didn't bothered about the graphics option until I arrived on Xerith. Thank God I saved a little bit before, but it crashed after I went back closed the Graphics page.

Does it do it all the time?

Yes, and the error message says: Script 'Khas Ultra Lightning line 556::EEACCES occurred.

Which map are you on? I'm wondering if that makes a difference.
I've just gone in and out of that from the Menu and nothing happened. I tried it with both changing a setting and not changing anything; both worked fine.

I was in Xerith, but I started a new game just to test and that also happened as soon as I gained control of the character.

Also, since we're here, I couldn't go back to Xerith woods. I entenred the woods from teh north after leaving Xerith and some choices appeared asking if I wanted to Enter or Go Through, I entered but I left imediately. I tried to enter again and I couldn't enter anymore, saying I had to find shelter for the storm. haha But I WANT to explore the place again, I think I missed a secret room.

You'll be able to go back after the night at the inn when the storm is over. And if you didn't find any secret room in the Woods (I'm not counting the cave/Inner Place for Bella's quest) then yes, you have missed one.

I'll send the save file when I get home, I'm in work right now using the phone.

About the woods, that happened after the events in Xerith (the inn and the mayor conversation).

Kes, try the graphics thingy with his savefile too, to see if you can replicate the bug.
