Funny you should say that I made a Winnie the Pooh cake for a friend about 2 years ago and she refused to cut it. She froze it and still has it to this day +::biggrin

Wow, I wouldn't cut them either. I can't figure out how in the world you do that!
Do you use molds of some sort, or maybe cut a regular cake into shapes?? I burn
water in the microwave myself!! +::fear +::Dunno

I have mold for some and shape some on my own after I draw a rough plan out on paper. Most of the mistakes can be covered by the icing +::O_o +::biggrin

No not thinking of going in to business, just do it for fun, unfortunately it's getting harder as I have arthritis.

To Bodeia

HMMM!! cake love cake those cakes look so inviting and yummy.

Do you ever watch Ace of Cakes? It airs here in Canada on Food Network.

They have some really creative and fun cakes to look at.

Some of the cakes look impossible to create but they manage to create some great cakes.

I enjoy watching that show because of the talent and creativity. +::biggrin

Do I eat it or kick it?

Joke +::biggrin

Yes the Ace of cakes is an American show and they makes cakes for different occasions.

i never realized until I watched the program that cake making is a form of art. It is a cool and delicious form of art I must say.

My favorite episode is when they made a cake to resemble the moon which looked really good.

They have made cakes of sandcastles, statue of liberty, the twin towers in NY, and many very creative cakes. Here in Canada and the USA it is a popular show and the creativity that goes into these cakes is fun to watch and the cast are normal cake masters who like the art of cake making. I enjoy watching this this show.

Cheers

My sister in law bakes just like you. The time and effort it takes to create cakes like this, not to mention the artistic talent - well, needless to say I wouldn't have the patience. And you should see a normal cake that I would bake. On second thought, no you wouldn't. + To begin with, I can't even get it out of the pan without ripping the cake apart, and then it's all lopsided. +::cry
Hats off to you!
