Is it worth buying a bunch of crystal water barrels from Halwenn in Mt. Zulle at 500g each and selling them to a guy in Chapter 4? Need to make some money and wondered if this would help. Tried the sword thing with Louis in Chapter 2, but that glitch must have been fixed cause he wouldn't let go of his sword.

Yeah, you can sell them for more money than you bought.

thanks for response. Unfortunately the guy buying crystal water barrels only pays 400g each, so that's a 100g loss on each barrel.

You shound't sell them to any people, you should buy them and sell to a merchant on Adretana that is looking for Crystal Water Barrels, believe me... it will be worth it.

I believe Chapter 4 actually has two merchants that will offer to buy them. The more obvious merchant you mentioned will incur a 100g loss per barrel and is mostly there to stiff players that don't pay enough attention. :p

It's been forever and a day since I've played LF1 though, so I could be totally wrong here. I couldn't even tell you where the second merchant is, if they even do exist.

You were so right, the merchant in the potions shop buys the barrels for 700g - best investment I've made so far! Thanks for the responses to my question.
