Hi, just wanted to know how high I can level my characters in this chapter of the game. Will they start from scratch in ch. 2? Will they have their supplies (like Marine's super-jumping sandals)?

Items are kept.
Levels aren't.
If you level up in this game, just do it for fun (i know i would), not in regard to episode 2.

Hi there, thats a shame about the levels, I like having powerful characters and not having to go through the grind of levelling up again. Oh well, c'est la vie.

What about gold? Is this something which will transfer?

A level one fighter with the equipment you have is really not a level one fighter. More like a level 10-15. So it won't be hard to get some of the levels back. Still have to do a little grinding though.

That sounds fair.

Dare I ask how many chapters you intend? The amount of levels will vary if there are only 6 chapters in this game as opposed to having 18 chapters.

As of now, I've planned this story of 5 episodes total.
I have the plot and I believe it will play quite smoothly and more and more intensely.

I am glad that the characters do not keep their levels after you finish chapter 1 of Millennium.

I am not sure if their skills are kept and of course I need my newly acquired choice equipment?

When I played Laxius Force 2 I was too concerned about leveling characters to 99 and it became really boring and took away from the game so I actually played an old save file and finished characters at levels between 60 and 75 which I thought was more reasonable.

When you are level 99 and have learned all the skills it takes away from the anticipation and excitement when the next chapter is released because your characters have learned everything and it is no longer fun to play.

I like the way this game is designed and wait patiently for more great game playing

I figured you would know Mr. Creator of the game but I imagine it must be difficult to keep track of things like that with all the games you've made.
