I can't beat the Djiin.

Like I said in the the title, I can't beat the Djiin in the temple. Does anyone know how to beat him? And in case anyone asks, Mirane is at Lv.29, Benoit's at 28, Karine's at 29, and Hirado's at 24. Oh, and I'm on Easy mode.

I never played easy mode but on normal mode I defeated the Djinn like this:
I had Marine call Jeanne on the first turn, followed by her Red Orb power which boosts everyone else's attacks, Benoit was initially using Iron Hand on the boss and then Wind Hand or attacking, Karine was attacking or using restorative items all the time and Hirado was doing Barrier (you need this to minimize the attack from the boss which can wipe you out quite easily otherwise), Dust Cloud and White Orb. I used Jeanne only to heal. Still it took me 10min... I kept killing the minions as they sprang back to life and stunning/putting it to sleep/paralyzing the boss, also you might need to use Marine's Red Orb several times and keep attacking it until it goes!
Oh and I was playing in normal mode with levels 33, 32, 32 and 26!

Thanks. I was able to beat the Djinn, and beat Millennium 1! I'll be playing the next part when it comes out for sure. In the meantime though, I'm going to play Eternal Eden before I move on to the next Adorlea offering. ^_^

I face the djin, but Jeanne is regularly killed, so I have no help more for heal ... and as I have no more meat or other to revive ... my companions are killed too !!!

What levels are you, which mode are you playing and how does Jeanne die?

I cannot find level I play (I think it's easy ...), Marine is on 28, Benoit 26, Karine 25 (but has no special skills ...) and Hiro 22.
And maybe I effectively kill Jeanne accidently - I'm so clumsy !!! but I yet take care of it ...

btw = by the way
promoted = stronger due to a promotion (at the shrine of myst after lv20)

no, but you would have to exit the djinn's dungeon and the sapphire cave.

I already tried, but when I arrived at the end of the way (on the last blue triangle, after lava), I could not go through and so I came back ...

I didn't play easy mode but on the normal and hard modes it is possible to wonder around the world map area where the shrine and the entrance to Sapphire Caves are situated!
