No doubt part of my problem is old vision trying to get around the swamp.

I actually successfully navigated through almost the whole thing, got up to the elder's boat a few times, offered some monkey meat and, as I assume things are written, nothing happens. Found Granny's maps and am trying to figure out how to get to Toad Island, and am right now totally lost somewhere on Map Right 2 trying to find the Up map to get back to the elder's boat, which I assume is the way to get to the island.... On the one hand, it's been a great to chance to level up, on the other, it's getting very frustrating....Anyone direct me how to get to Toad Island?

Second -- how the heck do I get west of shumen (which, BTW in Hebrew means "fat") to play with spiders? And who the heck is Abu?

Abu is the person you are looking for at the boat in the swamp. You need Exquisite Monkey Meat which you can buy in Shumen.

You can't get west of Shumen until you get Abu and then go back to Shumen and finish a quest there to get another party member.

Once you get the boat, make sure and explore the island carefully. You can't go back.

are you sure it's not just "monkey meat" you have at x50?

Is there a differenz between Monkey Meat and Exquisite Monkey Meat? When Yes where can I by?
