Where o where is the empty house? I've searched all through Mystrock territory and cannot seem to find it.

It's on the south side of the lake to the right as you get into Mystrock Territory. It won't appear until you find it, then it will show on the map.

What is the empty house for? Does it have some significance or is this house for the next chapter?

i too have asked that question RPGeez but no answer yet.. ( i hope it becomes the party's headquarters in the next episode )
and also..why is the forge appearing if you cannot interact with it?

There was a goodie or maybe two in it, but other than that, it was just fun to find the outside and the chimney. Sometimes Indy sets things up waaaaay in advance. Maybe for MM3 or MM4 or MM5????
