Snore peas and last gate

I have read the previous threads, but still have a question. I ran out of snore peas (I had 6) and I need to go back to Ju-Ju for the last Gate. When I went back the second time I had 1 left, so I used it and still could not get in. Does this mean that I will NOT be able to finish this quest?

if you do not save, just reload and try again!

Sometimes, the snore pea doesn't work. Save before using and then keep trying, make sure that Abu is not equipped with anything that protect against Sleep.
