I picked someone who knows about Marines mum. It adds far more intrigue to the story.
The spy is hired just to spy just for now. The dragon hasnt asked for any action to be taken against her just yet. Its too early

Yeah but he has to find her, so in his letter maybe he is pretending to know where her mum is! What do you think of this plot - is it twisted enough?

I was very slow in catching you on this remark but from what you said it seems, whether conveying truthful info or not, the letter IS about Marine's mum!!!

Or maybe she gets the letter from her step sister...her mother was kidnapped and force to marry another one...just a thaught.

Letter is from assassin and it says, in part: "Marine, I am your mother." +::lol

And it says, further to Nanchan's contribution: "I was forced to marry Lord Dragon." Not that it changes the quest parameters, but could mitigate who (or what) Marine fights in the final battle.

i voted someone who knows something about her mum. it brings more twist and it was sent to her house at green grass so meaning its either for her father or its personal. reason why the i don't think the other options don't count: because lord dragon doesn't really know much about her and why would he care? he's so powerful like they say, he won't waste ink for Marine, the spy wouldn't send her letters because obviously his a spy not some paparazzi from Hollywood trying to blackmail her or something. her mom won't too since i think (my thoughts eversince she said her mum wasn't dead but lost.) she's either a prisoner/slave, had amnesia or is currently Lord Dragons concubine

(wild imagination much!!)
