While any or all of this may be possible, I got no indication where it's going when the developer got this. Comments, speculation and guesses appreciated.

Now that we know that Marine has five (Karine, Hirado, Benoit, Abu and Jezabel), she returns to Mystrock and adds Dee and Gravitron. The Sage, in accepting the list addenda, permits fairies and robots to be included, over the protests of Borgon, but not Lord Dragon. Abu returns to Green Grass, summons the aid of Claryssa (Marine's mom as we discovered) to heal Stefan completely. He is listed for the battle as well. Three opponents of Dragon's government are found and they all join the list, but just in time.

The combat ensues, with the final encounter, likely Dragon v Marine, to decide the matter.

Consider that Merline and Claryssa MIGHT wind up as part of the list, as might Jeanne if the Sage rules in favor of non-humans.

Ugly twist: battles are tied, and Dragon offers to marry Marine to save his own sorry ass. Borgon protests, and battle now ensues between Dragon and Borgon for leadership. The Sage has to rule on the appropriateness of Dragon's offer to Marine, and Borgon fighting Dragon as 13th match.

I think since there are at least 3 more episodes, and hopefully 2 more people per episode, that Dee and Gravitron are not options for being part of the 13.

Stefan may be but I have a feeling that he will continue to be ill for a least one more episode and as part of the next episode, Marine will be searching for a cure for her father as well as new fighters.

Who is Merline?? My memory is shot.

Isn't she too little to be a fighter?? I sort of saw her as another Piu-Piu. You know supporting cast who is only good for one quest or part of one quest.

so according to the rules any but only humans can participate in the showdown.
so piu² and gravitron can't (unless they find a way or another lol) but merline certainly can. now it takes the sage to refuse an irrelevant participation (say you'd register a baby....)

I didn't say she wouldn't join. I said I didn't think she would be part of the 13. Just my opinion, though.
