MM2 The most lasting impression was the theme for the Spider Territory. the beat and psyched me up for encounters

This topic hasn't really picked up, I'm afraid....

The music from MM2 was slightly better than in MM1 imo.

As for my favorite theme, probably every new track in MM2 was good, if I should pick up one, It would be Eternal Autumn theme.

When compared with other Ardorlea's games, I would say that 3SoD and MM are comparable (3SoD had awesome soundtrack, too), but my favorite is Asguaard, Ozone and the road to The Center of The Earth is something that will be hard to match in your future games.

Ps. LF3 had some great music too, especially themes from Mosquito Swamp and Hall of Maddness (Winterstorm) still sounds in my head sometimes.

That would be LP3.
And one day, I should re-use those, because they were my own work, and it would be cool to have new people discover it.

All I can say that the music in both games are really good. I like sometimes the music sets the scene for different areas.
It adds an extra level to the game experience.

In other RPG's I have played(non Aldorlea - Indinera) I usually get annoyed after a while and just turn off the game music and listen to a CD instead.

I definitely second that a great music helps a lot the immersion.
This is why I'm extremely selective on the musics I put in my games.

I have posted again here because there a few tracks from Asguaard I really and would like to hear in Millennium.

Patience - full length. Very good track to play to.
Mantra- this is one of my favorites. I liked how the it went from slow to fast. It created a spooky and dangerous setting.
Crystal horizon - very cool track.
Da_Groove. I like this track and I wanted to stay in the Zeppelin and get down and rock to the beat. Good stuff.

My favorite in Asguaard and MM2 are both the title screen ones.
My favorite in MM1 is the "hope" one, just after the Rogue is beaten.

Title Song of MM2

I found the title song actually a good representation of hope and freedom. There was something lingering, inspiring and well, there was a point that sappy me even felt those silly pangs you feel when you realize it would be really great for a 13 yr. old girl to really try and succeed in saving the world! But really, I liked the music in both 1 & 2 but thought 2 exceeded in areas of the passion of the story and the same passion that created the story. Like the creative zone you get in when you know you've finally got the right thing and it's the one that's going to win you the BEST RPG AWARD of the Year!

Any chance of a compilation CD of all the great games of Laxius, Millenniums, and Asguaard?

As for a compilation, it's not scheduled for now.

Asguaard I like more of: Aqua, Bomb Run, Comunicator(Creepy theme ), Island Fever², Kyrania, Presouls, Road to Victory,Zoglu Creepy In

Millennium: Caribian Party(Looks like a anime theme ), Control, El Gran Salto, Electroney, Elysian Fields, God of the Forest(My favorite of all the Aldorlea themes ), Metalstorm, Patience(really relaxing theme. , Stargazing ( Another relaxing theme )
