Help With That Quest to Assemble A Demon in Chapter 4

I think I might've messed it up. I killed a true demon near the transport counter and took its head assuming that I could get the legs from the other two, only to discover that the one in the Tower is a ghost with no legs.

Is there possibly a fourth demon somewhere in the remainder of the game which I can slay to get its legs, or have I effectively prevented myself from completing this quest?

I don't quite remember, but at least according the walkthrough there are only threee Major Demons and the one in the Tower can only be severed for head. So yes, you probably lost your chance to complete this quest.

The walkthrough only mentions three, since you can no longer identify major demons after completing the quest. There is still Tatxux later in chapter 4, and I believe he gives you a choice of head or legs.

At any rate, there are a minimum of four true demons, possibly more in LF2 even. So even missing one, you should be fine.

Ah, that's good to know. Yeah, I do have parts II and III although I haven't played them yet so I'm happy to hear that the quest can still be carried over and I'll be able to finish it. Thanks!

Kale: Thanks for the info, now I remember it too - I recall that you actually get the chance to sever the demon's body even after completing the quest, if I'm not mistaken.
