Ogre Tower

I seem to be stuck in the Ogre Tower. I am in a room with a giant statue of an ogre. I am looking for the switch that opens the cell for the witch. I did Q13 and have talked to Cybal and only need to unlock the cell. I can't get near the statue and have no idea what to do now.

It's been a while since I played so I don't remember the room with a giant ogre statue.

But, to unlock the witches cell you need to first

kill the ogre and then stand on the switch next to where he was. The button switch needs to be in the "up" position for the cell to open.
