So far so good!~

So far so good!~

Postby Inaira » Mon Feb 23, 2009 5:18 pm

I'm so loving playing! Found 2 secret rooms so far, which makes me VERY happy. This is one of the most intense games I've ever played. You have to have so much strategy and memory (if you don't write everything down that is). Thank you, thank you, thank you.

+::YAY
All explorers are seeking something they have lost. It is seldom they find it, and more seldom still that the attainment brings them greater happiness than the quest.

The secret rooms are a nice touch - and believe me many of them are not obvious lol

Yep, some secret rooms are difficult to find, specially in the snow - yes the game is awesome.

I just started today, and after 1 1/2 hrs, I've found 6 secret rooms, one of which has
Spoiler: show
a water sword
. I am having lots of fun with this one, and I have so much to do today, and all I want to do is play this game!

I play for 2 hours now and i like the game very much.
Especially the little details which can be found in every screen.

A few minutes ago i fought the "Kayzer crab" which reminded me on an old sega genesis classic:
'shining in the darkness'.

Conclusion:
Very well done, Indinera. :) :) Can't wait to play further.

Yes, you found an easter egg, Fraktalmarko ^^

I love the atmosphere those old games like Shining in the Darkness had. :)

Anyway, if I wanted a complex story led by dynamic characters that aren't easily categorised into facile dichotomies of good and bad with no clear arc or easily predicted outcome, I'd have left the theatre and lived my damn life. Brownian

Wow! I think I'm going to love this game, but I'm already lost! Finished 1st quest, & already stuck! Can't figure out how to clear out the mushrooms, make the little witch girl mad at me, and that's about it. Any help?

I'm pretty much at the same place myself. There is another sidequest on the way to Sarah though.

Remember you can press S to see the quests and what you need to do to solve them ;)

Yeah, I'm really no good with these kind of intelligent creatures making the games. I ALWAYS need help. So when's the walkthrough coming. lol J/k. I right there with ya, the mushrooms, etc. I'm getting frustrating about the guy that would buy acorns though. I've retraced everything and I just bite on trying to find him. ugh.

Acorn guy:

Spoiler: show
I'm pretty sure I found him near Random's parent's house. Not sure he will be there when I return though

You need Sarah in your party before you can clear out the mushrooms. As far as the little witch girl, I talked to her later with Sarah (after I had restarted to prevent Random from making her mad), and all she did then was talk about the trial. So the mushroom thing was over. Not sure if that was supposed to be a quest but I didn't get it either (with Random solo, with Random and Guanidia, with Random, Guanidia, and Sarah). I tried every combo and didn't get anywhere either.

I think the Witch is just a regular NPC and not quest giver, unless it happens very late in the game.
