Werewolf bite

I am trying to get Cindy's speed up to steal the chest at the Fighters Guild. Whenever I try to inflict Werewolf from Brussian, she dies. What am I doing wrong?

Werewolf bite inflicts damage based on Brussian's ST/AT stats, and is countered by Cindy's overall defense. If you find Cindy has a hard time surviving, remove Brussian's weapon and anything that adds significantly to his Strength, then put some better armor on Cindy. Also make sure that the energy burn status isn't currently in effect on Cindy, since it halves HP. I believe it wears off after one battle, so it shouldn't be hard to get rid of.

If that still isn't enough, look through your items and spells to find a way to inflict Steel Skin and Heroism on Cindy to up her RS more. I think the shop in the northeastern part of town (Where the harpy guild is) sells most of the status effect inducing items in the game.

Thanks for the help, Kale. I did have on the energy burn status when I tried it, and Brussian had a lot a strength. Your suggestions did the trick!
