I need some help for the part of the game when the party get's through the Banuluuna(I forget how to spell it

) Gardens and get into the shrine thingy and talk to the guy there. I got some help from the walkthrough +::biggrin

and I did the quest Protect the Guild and right at that part of the game the sceen goes to the two people you chose to guard the guild. In the walkthrough it says that I have to ''Inspect the flame at the top-left to advance the plot''. I think It's talking about that little red flame in the torch that you see when you go right and around from the entrance of thr guild. I tried to click on it from all side but nothing happened. I tried looking at other stuff but nothing seemed to work.
Please help me. THX!

The flame is the one where you do the quest with putting your hand in the flame.

Yeah but I don't actually think I was able to complete that quest. Could maybe somebody please tell me where on the map it is?

If you leave someone in the FIre Guild, the quest starts automatically when Random's party is in Balnuunla before they go to see the Oracle.

The flame is in the top-left area of the map, after you circle your way around the area, and it is in a torch I believe. Based on your first post, it sounds like you've already examined the correct flame.

Other users in the past have reported having a similar issue with the older versions of LF2. Updating their copy of the game has usually fixed the problem for them: http://www.aldorlea.org/laxiusforce2.php

Any chance you have a backup save file from perhaps just before the Fire Guild? It's possible that whatever the fix was, it might not work unless you can re-enter the area somehow.

If not, this may be a case you need to PM Indy and see if there's any way he can take a look at your save file. That's the only other thing I can recommend at this point.

I dunno what else to tell you then. I never encountered this issue myself, and I can only share what others have said on the matter. In lieu of that not helping, I'm tapped out on this one. Maybe someone else can share some additional wisdom on this one.
