Brussians Lvl?

I'm on the quest where Sarah is going to meet the Elder Elf with her animal party, right before the end of Chapter 7. In the walkthrough it says this:

"It has a delta shield. Return and start to take the path leading down. If Brussian is in your party and at a high enough level, he will notice a secret room."

Where exactly am I supposed to see this secret room? And how high does Brussians level have to be? Right now I currently have him at a lvl 48 and have been grinding for a couple of hours. Or do I just need to re-equip him to raise his MN?

Mind you I'm only doing this because the WT says there are 3 spell books in there: 1000 organs, elven mist, and the purificator. If these aren't worth the grinding time I'd love to know so I can get on with the story.

I'm not sure; there isn't any real way to experiment on level equipments like you can with finding stat requirements. I would hazard a guess that the requirement is ~Lv. 50, if I recall my own play-through correctly. If you didn't import with the full 9 Perception bonus from LF1, then you may need to level as high as ~60 or so.

Check to see if you have the Crystal Eye 'other' equipment first though. If you have it, equip it on Brussian to get a +5 bonus to his perception.

There were only a couple of quests that I didn't complete from LF1...I know I didn't get the missing girl you had to get with Marion, I was missing something for that one....and I haven't been able to complete the one where you help Cyan start the shop in Petro District. There are a couple I'm going back to because I didn't have certain requirements.

I'm pretty sure I don't have this crystal eye *checks* nope.....is it too late to get that one? If not, I'll go get it, it's gotta be faster than what I'm doing now lol

As I said, I'm mainly doing this for the spell books in the secret room....these better be worth it.

Well, I'm at lvl 50 now and still no little blue arrow....

I found that you get the crystal eye from a squid during the mermaids quests in LF1.....I beat that squid and didn't get it so I'm guessing it's a random drop.

I must have missed something along the way.....and I don't use brussian a lot in my party anyway so that's probably why he's suckish right now.....I'm just going to go on and finish the game.

BTW, if anyone knows what spells those are, I wanna know I've grinded for a whole day to get his levels up and I'm over it.

That's actually a different crystal eye with a longer name and different effect. The one that raises perception is simply called 'Crystal Eye'. I'm not sure where you actually get it though; the walkthrough doesn't make a direct mention of it. I would assume it was a shop item, but I couldn't tell you which shop or which chapter. For the books:

Elven Mist (Usable by Sarah, Luciana, Rosa)
Mist of Zen: (15MP) 'Pw Air | Infl. Silence/Sleep/Lichea | ST40%RS100%MN100% MD25% Var30%'

The Purificator (Usable by Luciana, Herasia)
Surging Heal: (18MP) 'Rem. Plague/Burn/Stone/Bleeding'

The 1000 Organs (Usable by Luciana, Wendala, Sarah, Guanida)
Absalcalcicovution (17MP) 'Rem. Many Conditions'

The Elven Mist (Mist of Zen) is notable for the Lichea effect. There isn't much else in the game that inflicts Lichea, and it's the rarest and most powerful form of poison.

Ah, I already have Mist of Zen for Sarah, so no big loss there.....I think one of my characters has surging heal as well....Luci maybe? For the Absalcalcicovution (had to copy and paste, what a mouthful) That would have been nice....but I have so many items still in my list for that it'll be a while before I'll need it.

Ok so that only makes me a little regretful.
