Genevieve missing

I am in Canacopra ... Jamar took Genevieve and I cannot find her anywhere ... or leave. Stayed at the inn and red the note.
help please

also, I got the contact lenses awhile back, but it does not show up in my inventory anywhere?

(1) Go back to Jamar's house and search for the secret room in the lower right room. Inspect the small, wooden table there and you should be able to advance.
(2) You don't actually find the contact lenses. You find the recipe that makes the contact lenses. After you've saved Genevieve, use your crafting skill to make the contact lenses. The lenses will then show up under Key Items. It's important that you craft the lenses before finishing Karim's Hideout quest.

I can't find her either. I beat the boss in the tower, and when I went back to where she was in the tower, on the lava screen, she was gone. I returned and slept in the inn. Looked everywhere in the town (or is there an upper section with a secret access point?), talked to everyone again. In Jamar's house, the dog doesn't move to check for a SR. I don't see Genevieve's shack anywhere.
Please help, I've been trying for 2 hours to figure something out!

Hi ozgal, you're asking about something that happens much earlier in the game. No sleeping is necessary here.

The woman you found in the lava area of the Ogre's Tower is Cybel, not Genevieve. Yes, Cybel goes missing after you kill the ogre. After you've found the real Genevieve, someone in Canacopra will give you a side quest to find Cybel.

The Ogre's Tower really is a huge place. On the 3rd floor, there is a choice of 2 pathways up. One goes up to the Ogre's room where you fought him, and the other goes up to the prison where Genevieve is. Make sure you follow each path all the way up to the top.

Thank you, Rabbit. I meant to say that she (Cybel) was missing from the lava screen, and I assumed I needed to talk to her again - but also that Genevieve was missing from the cell.

For some weird reason, when I turned the computer off and turned it back on this morning, Genevieve had reappeared. Maybe there was something I did before turning it off, I don't know. I'm glad I can continue with the game though!! I've now gone back to the town to rest up and will hopefully get the sidequest for Cybel.

I'm glad to hear you were able to continue playing.
I believe there has been some confusion there. Genevieve simply cannot go from the Tower unless you free (and recruit) her.
